Gyasi Daniel is a self-taught abstract visual artist. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but has been strongly influenced by his St. Lucian parents and family. Gyasi started creating art at the age of 6, and has used poetry, songs, plays, rap and illustration to express his ideas. Becoming more focused in 2015, Gyasi has used art to express gratitude and honor the Most High, as well as to examine the human condition by replicating his experiences, feelings, and ideas on paper.
Through GyasiArt, he aims to help people to slow down and take the time to access, evaluate and understand themselves. The techniques practiced help people to express themselves, develop fine motor skills, and gain self-confidence. Gyasi aims to continue honoring and seeking God through drawing, painting, and writing.
